If you are a goose lover or are merely intrigued by geese, we recommend you join the Geese-As-Pets online group. There are specific questions and answers about geese (and some ducks) posed by members. To join, go to Geese-As-Pets and click the "Join This Group" button. If you do sign up, you will by asked by Yahoo for your “alternate email address”. This means your primary email address, the address to which you want the emails sent. Why they call it an alternate email address I have no idea.

Our Breed Offerings:

African Goose- Imposing breed with dark brown stripe down neck.
Super African Goose - Impressive bird with well developed dewlap.
White Chinese Goose - Swan-like, very graceful and talkative.
Brown Chinese Goose - Similar to White Chinese but in shades of brown and black.*
Embden Goose - Most common meat goose.
Canada Goose - Maxima strain, hatched domestically.
Pilgrim Goose - Calm temperment with white males and gray females.*
Buff Goose - Pleasant disposition, beautiful colors.*
Tufted Buff Goose - Unique tuft of feathers on top of their head.*
Roman Tufted Goose - A smaller white goose with a tuft of feathers on top of their head.*
Toulouse Goose - Most common gray barnyard goose.
Tufted Toulouse Goose - Tufted example of the Toulouse Goose.
French Toulouse Goose - Better Toulouse for meat production.
Sebastopol Quiet, friendly goose with curled feathers.*

You can request that some or all of your geese be certain sexes. All sexed birds are identified with colored, plastic leg bands. These must be removed by 7 days of age or they will begin to cut in to the gosling's leg. The cost is $1.25 per gosling.

For the White Chinese, Embden, Toulouse and African you can only order up two more females than males (pairs, one female, two females, one male and three females, two males and four females, etc.). The remaining breeds can only be sold straight run (not sexed) or in pairs. Canada geese are only sold straight run. Call if you have a question.
